Plymouth Police have arrested a man on Resisting charges following a Monday afternoon incident.
Officers were called to the 300 block of Water Street around 3:00 p.m. regarding an “out of control” man. The initial complaint said 28-year-old Justin Stewart was in an apartment at the site and attempting to gain access to a weapon while destroying the dwelling.
Police attempted to take Stewart into custody, but allege that he resisted officers by kicking officers at the scene, throwing punches and spitting on them.
Stewart was eventually apprehended and taken into custody before being booked into the Marshall County Jail on multiple charges. Police have not specified the exact charges besides Resisting Law Enforcement.
