The Indiana State Police Alliance political action committee has announced their endorsements heading into the 2016 general election.
According to a press release, the ISPA says they developed the list based on past performance of some of the candidates as well as sit-down interviews with those seeking public office.
The ISPA PAC represents more than 1,100 state police officers.
In State Senate District 18, the ISPA has decided to endorse Republican candidate Randy Head.
No endorsements were made on the side of the state House races affecting Marshall County, according to the ISPA’s news release.
In the contentious race for Governor, the ISPA has thrown their support behind Democratic candidate John Gregg.
The organization’s political action committee says they’re confident their chosen candidates will promote the interests of the Indiana State Police during 2017’s session of the general assembly.
