The Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay is underway, and there’s a mobile app available to help Hoosiers track the torch’s progress.
The Indiana Torch Relay App lets users know where the torch is at all times, using GPS data. It also includes the complete schedule of when the torch will be in each of Indiana’s 92 counties, as well as the complete list of torchbearers. The app also allows users to purchase official Indiana Bicentennial and Bicentennial Torch Relay merchandise.
The Indiana Torch Relay App is available from both iTunes and Google Play.
The relay began on September 9 in Corydon, Indiana’s first capital. The torch will pass through each Indiana county before reaching the Statehouse in Indianapolis on Saturday, October 15. On its way, it will pass through Marshall County on Tuesday, October 4 and Pulaski and Starke counties on Friday, October 7.
