The Marshall County Emergency Management Agency is putting another call out for damage reports from storms in August.
Retrieving reports is used to determine whether state or federal disaster loans, or other assistance, may be obtained. Marshall County is specifically interested in obtaining flood damage reports from storms in the area on August 15th.
The heavy rains cause road closures in Marshall County with some damage reported immediately following the storms.
Marshall County EMA Director Clyde Avery says that reporting damage is not a guarantee for assistance, but is a step in the process to determine whether assistance is warranted.
