Faster Internet is now available at the Culver-Union Township Public Library. The library has completed its computer infrastructure upgrade project, which involved the replacement of most of the network switches, as well as the firewall.
Library officials say the new equipment boosts speeds by up to 10 times, improves WiFi coverage throughout the building, and increases reliability. Patrons of the library may access the upgraded Internet service on their personal computers, tablets, smartphones, or other devices.
Eighty percent of the cost of the upgrades was covered by a federal grant.
