The Plymouth Board of Works received an update Monday on a few projects taking place in the city. Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson says contracts have been signed with Kokosing Industrial, the contractor selected to carry out upgrades to the city’s Wastewater Treatment Plant.
He told board members that with the contracts are in place, work is now underway. “They’re digging footings for a new watering building and installing some conduits for the underground electric,” he said.
Meanwhile, Davidson says contracts have also been signed with Haskins Underground for the Plymouth-Goshen Trail water main extension. Work on that project is scheduled to start after Labor Day.
Additionally, the homes at 805 and 809 West Harrison Street have been torn town. However, Davidson planned to speak with contractor Jackson Demolition Services about finishing up some additional work at the site that hadn’t been completed as of Monday.
