Culver Beach patrons have but a couple of weeks to enjoy the full amenities of the popular summertime spot. The dawn of a new academic year means many of the staff are returning to either high school or college.
Officials with the Culver Park Department say Sunday, Aug. 14 will be their last day for concessions and lifeguards. Additionally, hours will be reduced from Monday, Aug. 8 through Friday, Aug. 12. The beach will be open from noon until 6 p.m. Regular hours of 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. will resume on Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th. Daily admission rates apply. The park closes each day from midnight until 5 a.m.
Swimming at your own risk is permitted when lifeguards are not on duty.
