The area’s hottest new dance and party band will take the stage tonight in downtown Plymouth. Ultrafab is headlining tonight’s Encore Performing Arts Summer Performance Series, sponsored by MAX 98.3 FM. Their set features dance tunes from artists ranging from Lady Gaga to Luke Bryan to Pitbull.
Gates open at 6 p.m. in advance of the 7:30 show. During a recent Encore Board meeting, members unanimously voted to dedicate the season to longtime music lover, teacher and mentor Bob Pickell. The former Encore board member had planned to join again after his retirement. He never got the chance, as he fell to his death at his Plymouth home last week.

Adult tickets to tonight’s Encore Performing Arts show are $10 each at the gate, and $8 in advance. Children and students get in free. Advance tickets can be purchased at the Encore Office, ASK for Flowers, Wagoner’s Music Shop, Martin’s Supermarket, The Pilot News, Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, Plymouth Park and Recreation Department.
