State Police K-9 Retires

user29498-1469037170-media1After nearly eight years of service, an Indiana State Police K-9 is getting a well-deserved retirement. Zane has been patrolling the ISP Bremen District alongside his handler Trooper Ryan McNamara since December 2008.

Since then, they’ve been involved in 104 tracks and 559 building, evidence, and vehicle searches, according to the State Police. Zane and McNamara are credited with removing pounds of illegal drugs from Bremen District Streets.

Zane will spend his retirement living with McNamara and his family.
