A Bourbon man was taken into police custody Friday night, after police allegedly found a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia in his apartment. Bourbon Police responded to the apartment in the 100 block of North Main Street around 10:45 p.m. after getting a complaint of burning marijuana.
The tenant, Braxton Sechrist, allegedly told police he had smoked marijuana earlier in the day and allowed the officers to look in the apartment. Sechrist was taken to the Bourbon Police Department and was released after filling out paperwork and promising to appear in court.
