Plymouth schools will be back in the swing of things next week and Superintendent Dan Tyree is updating parents on a few things that have been accomplished over the summer.
Secure entrances have been created at Webster Elementary and Washington Discovery Academy. In addition, Plymouth Schools have also completed a revised curriculum based on new standards released two years ago.
Plymouth high school students return to class on August 2nd, and Principal Jim Condon says students should be prepared to attend class for the fall semester.
Teachers report back to work on Monday, August 1st. Plymouth High School does not provide a supplies list due to the variability in class schedules. Students may, however, pick-up their Macbook Air computers in the high school library on Friday between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. If students miss their pickup times ahead of class, they may also retrieve their devices the first day of school.
According to the principal’s letter, the first day of school will be spent in home room and visiting their classrooms where teachers will supply students with a syllabus and a supplies list.
