The campaign continues to raise funds for renovation projects on Plymouth High School’s athletic facilities.
Ongoing renovations to the bleachers, the ticket offices, the restrooms, and other facets of the football facilities have been in the works for some time. The goal is to have a majority of it ready by the start of football season.
To help raise funds for a portion of the project, the Plymouth School Corporation is selling commemorative bricks to be incorporated into the entrance to the Rockpile. There are different levels of commemorative bricks available.
The bricks are meant to honor special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries, but also friends, family and other meaningful moments. Funds raised from the brick sales will be used to install a new turf at the Rockpile in a few years.
Plymouth Schools Superintendent Dan Tyree says it’s a pretty even split between residents mailing their order and stopping into the administrative building.
