The Plymouth School Board will consider renewing several of the corporation’s agreements during tonight’s meeting.
That includes the contract to provide educational services to the Michiana Behavioral Health Center for the 2016-2017 school year. Additionally, Washington Discovery Academy, the Innovation Academy at Riverside, the Innovation Academy at Lincoln, and the Weidner School of Inquiry may continue their membership in the New Tech Network for another two years. The school board will also consider its staffing agreement with Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center for school nurses and health aides.
Meanwhile, school lunch prices may not be going up, after all. According to documents released in advance of tonight’s meeting, the school board will receive details about an exemption granted by the state to certain price requirements. That allows the corporation to keep lunch prices the same for another year.
In other business, the school board will consider changes to the terms of employment for classified staff. Board members will also get a report on the Alternative High School program’s 2015-2016 school year.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Plymouth Schools Administration Building.
