A Plymouth resident was injured after a crash Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Walnut and Adams Streets. According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Michael R. Simpson was riding a motorcycle east on Adams at around 1:30 p.m.
Witnesses told police Simpson did not stop at the stop sign at Walnut and collided with a police car heading northbound on Walnut. The police car, driven by Derek D. Workman, did not have a stop sign and had the right of way.
The Sheriff’s Department says Simpson was taken to the hospital for injuries including a possible broken leg.
