Ancilla College is touting a fundraiser it has put on as part of the Marshall County Blueberry Festival.
This is the 26th year for the Blueberry Bike Cruise on September 3rd of this year. That makes it the second day of the festival – which runs Labor Day weekend between September 2nd and the 5th.
The bicycle cruise event is designed to give residents and visitors an opportunity to travel rural Marshall County while raising funds that will be used as scholarships for Ancilla College students. Routes will cover 31, 41, and 62 miles. There will also be a family event of 16 miles. The route will travel through the Town of Culver and the Menominee monument.
The Blueberry Festival annually attracts more than 500-thousand visitors.
Menominee Elementary School acts as the starting place for the bike ride. Registration will begin at 6:00 a.m.
