A Plymouth man who police say wrecked a stolen car faces multiple criminal charges in connection with the incident. Plymouth Police responded just after 5 a.m. Sunday to a single vehicle accident in the 13000 block of Michigan Road. They found 22-year-old Steven Cogswell of Plymouth behind the wheel, according to the incident report.
Later that morning the vehicle owner reported her vehicle had been taken without her permission the previous night from the Jackson Heights area by Cogswell.
He was taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth for treatment before being released into the Marshall County Jail on auto theft and operating while intoxicated charges.
