Two have been pronounced dead following a weekend crash in Marshall County.
According to information released by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, 24-year-old Paul Graham and Jostiana Bouskill died as a result of their injuries at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
The crash happened just before 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of Rose Road and Plymouth-LaPorte Trail. A Honda Civic, driven by Paul Graham, was allegedly rear-ended by a 1999 Dodge Durango when breaking for a stop sign.
The initial report listed Graham in critical condition following a head injury. Two juveniles also sustained serious injuries in the crash. The passenger in the Honda Civic wearing a seatbelt did not sustain life threatening injuries.
Both Graham and Bouskill were listed in critical condition during initial reports, but were pronounced dead shortly after arrival at the hospital.
Sheriff’s Department officials say the occupants of the Dodge Durango, identified as 25-year-old Shane Graham and 27-year-old Monica Sanders of Elkhart, are thought to have fled the scene on foot. Their injury status is unknown.
