Marshall County Junior Achievement has gotten some help with its efforts to teach local students the basics of economics. The organization says its annual Achieve-A-Bowl fundraiser attracted 11 teams this year.
Of those teams, the Culver Academies Admission All-Stars raised the most money, with $550 raised for Junior Achievement.
The group provides economic education to more than 2,700 students in Marshall County. Local business and community leaders volunteer to help educators teach the basics of economics, workforce readiness, and personal financial management.
