Motorists will see a bit of a traffic slowdown on U.S. 30 near Hamlet on Monday.
The Indiana Department of Transportation says one lane in either direction of travel on the highway between County Road 300 East and U.S. 35 will be closed for resurfacing and reconstruction of the roadway on the U.S. 35 bridge over Robbins Ditch.
The bridge receiving construction updates is located west of Hamlet, and just to the west of the U.S. 35 interchange.
Lane closures will start on Monday and continue until the middle of September. That’s when the work is expected to be completed. INDOT says one 11 foot lane will still be available for passing traffic in either direction of travel.
Motorists passing through the area will be able to track the progress of construction work on INDOT’s Trafficwise Information Service.
