A Plymouth woman was arrested on Thursday on drunk driving charges.
Authorities say 37-year-old Edmelinda Armendariz had her vehicle stopped by Marshall County Police around 9:15 p.m. in the area of Michigan Road and Plymouth-Goshen Trail.
Alcohol was detected by officers. Tests were conducted, leading officers to believe she was operating a vehicle while intoxicated. A Blood Alcohol Content was more than .15% according to police. That is twice the legal limit.
Complicating her situation were the two children traveling in the back of the vehicle.
Armendariz is facing charges of Opearting a Vehicle While Intoxicated, Endangering a Person Under the Age of 18.
