The Culver Town Council will hold a public hearing on an ordinance amendment that may allow alcohol in the Town Park.
The proposal was originally made several weeks ago by the organizers of the summer “Taste of Culver” event. Culver does not allow alcohol in the Town Park, but a proposal looks to modernize the policy to allow alcohol with proper permitting and for special events.
Tonight’s meeting will also consider a tax abatement for Elkay, a major employer in the Culver community. Tax incentives are often implemented as a way to create or retain jobs in a community.
Tonight’s meeting starts at 6:30 EST at Culver Town Hall.
