Culver Town Council Read to Adopt Park Alcohol Changes

culver-town-hallThe Culver Town Council will be working to resolve several issues discussed in the past few weeks.

An ordinance allowing alcoholic beverages during permitted events in the Culver Town Park will be considered on second and third reading. The measure amends an existing ordinance banning alcoholic beverages in the park. Those changes are intended to make way for the annual “Taste of Culver” event – which is being held in the park for the first time.

Separately, Culver Town Council members will also consider establishing a LOIT Fund in their fiscal year budget. The change will allow Culver to receive a one time disbursement from the state of Indiana intended for road funding purposes.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at Culver Town Hall.
