The end of May is nearing and that means the Culver Farmer’s Market will host its opening day this weekend.
The community event will take place on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. This year’s Farmer’s Market will sport a new location under the green pavilion near the Train Depot in Culver.
Weekend markets allow area producers to display their products and allow consumers to purchase locally sourced products.
According to event organizers, patrons of the market will be able to enjoy fresh produce, baked goods, canned goods, and honey. Artwork will also be available for sale including jewelry and fabric art.
The Farmer’s Market’s vendors will change from week to week allowing local residents to experience something new every visit according to information provided on a Culver community listserv.
