The Plymouth School Corporation is hosting a fundraiser that will make improvements to their facilities, but also make a lasting memory for donors.
A commemorative brick project is being organized to aid in the renovation of the Rockpile football field. Plymouth schools are pitching the fundraiser as a way to memorialize someone close to the donor, or to honor someone close to the athletic programs.
Sponsored bricks will be incorporated into the front entrance of the Rockpile stadium and will be displayed for years, according to a press release.
The Plymouth Athletic Department says the commemorative brick project is designed to provide enjoyment to future generations by allowing fans and attendees to look for familiar names, and for donors to provide messages of encouragement.
Specifically, Plymouth Schools say funds raised will be used to install new turf at the football field a few years from now.
Bricks may be ordered at the PHS Band office, the Athletic Office inside the high school, the school’s front office, of the superintendent’s office.
