The Plymouth Mayor’s Youth Council is looking for volunteers to help clean up the city and plant some trees. The Fourth Annual Earth Day/Arbor Day Celebration will be held this Saturday at River Park Square.
All Plymouth residents age 11 or older are invited to come out and help. Volunteers must wear close-toed shoes and long pants. They’re also encouraged to wear work gloves and dress appropriately for the weather.
The Youth Council says doughnuts will be served to volunteers, as a small token of appreciation for those working to make Plymouth more earth-friendly.
To take part in this year’s clean-up and tree planting event, RSVP to the Mayor’s Office at mayor@plymouthin.com or 574-936-6717.
