Saturday marks the last opportunity for weekend early and absentee voting leading up to the May 3rd primary election.
Absentee voting has been ongoing in the state since early April. Voting hours continue to be offered during the weekdays at the Marshall County Clerk’s office in Plymouth, but also at satellite locations in the county.
As the primary draws near, Saturday absentee voting will be available on April 30th. Weekend voting hours will take place at the Clerk’s office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Providing for weekend time slots allows voters who are otherwise indisposed an opportunity to cast ballots during a time that may not interfere with their work schedules.
This is the first year Marshall County has implemented a vote center model. The concept allows residents to cast their ballot at any of the available polling locations using technology.
Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. local time on May 3rd.
