Absentee Voting Begins Tuesday in Marshall County

vote-3Tuesday marks the first day local election offices will accept absentee ballots cast in the May 3rd primary election.

In-person absentee voting will be held in the Marshall County Clerk’s office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Voting will take place Monday through Friday and two Saturday’s in April. Marshall County Clerk Debbie Vandemark says the Saturday hours will take place April 23rd and the 30th.

Absentee ballots will be accepted until May 2nd at Noon. That is the final day for residents in Marshall County to cast their ballot prior to the May 3rd primary election.

Two satellite offices will also be open at both Bremen and Culver Town Hall to cast absentee ballots.

The primary is the first election that Marshall County will be designated a vote center county. That means voters will be able to vote at any of the 12 precincts available in Marshall County.
