Governor Mike Pence has appointed a Warsaw business executive to serve on the Indiana Economic Development Corporation Board.
The announcement was made on Tuesday following a meeting of the IEDC’s Board of Directors. Michael Kubacki is the Chairman and CEO for the holding company of Lake City Bank – which has locations across Northern Indiana, but is based in Warsaw.
Former IEDC board member Bob Taylor retired from “Do It Best Corp.” in January, allowing Kubacki to serve the remainder of his term through 2017.
Kubacki is no stranger to board appointments. He has served on the Indiana Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Indiana University South Bend School of Business Advisory Board, and the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
Governor Mike Pence says Kubacki is a leader in Hoosier business. Lake City Bank is considered the largest bank in Indiana with all of its investments made locally.
