An SUV with a fictitious vehicle registration led to the arrest of two Starke County men.
Marshall County Police stopped the car in the parking lot of Pak A Sak on Jefferson Street in Plymouth. Not only did the vehicle have false registration according to police, but the car was allegedly being driven without proper insurance.
Officers also found that the driver, 51-year-old Warren Coffin of Knox, was operating the car without a license. Coffin was taken into custody with a search of his person allegedly revealing that he was in possession of a Legend Drug.
One of the passengers in the vehicle, 28-year-old Buddy Blankenship of North Judson, was found to have a protective order against him by another passenger in the vehicle. He was also taken into custody during the incident.
Both men were booked into the Marshall County Jail. Coffin is facing charges of Possession of a Legend Drug.
