An alleged Easter afternoon road rage incident ended with a trip to jail for a South Bend man. Dispatchers in Fulton County contacted Marshall County around 3:30 p.m. with a report of a motorist on U.S. 31 nearing the Marshall County line in a tan Chevrolet Malibu displaying a gun.
Two Marshall County Patrolmen and an Argos Police Officer stopped the car, driven by 18-year-old Anthony Alexander Moore of South Bend near Argos after reportedly spotting it driving in excess of 100 miles per hour.
The arrest report indicates officers found the weapon, which turned out to be a BB gun, as well as a shotgun in the trunk. They also found a small amount of marijuana and alcohol. Moore was arrested for reckless driving, illegal possession of alcohol by a minor and possession of marijuana.
