Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter will give his annual state of the city address this evening. It will take place during the common council meeting, which will begin at either 6:30 p.m. or immediately following the 6 p.m. board of works meeting. If you’re not able to attend, MAX 98.3 FM will share the address in its entirety on Sunday’s Maximum Impact public affairs show.
Other items on tonight’s common council agenda include further consideration of an ordinance to allow retired firefighters and EMS personnel to purchase their helmets and boots. The council will also consider an ordinance to adopt the fee schedule for the Department of Aviation for the City of Plymouth.
A public hearing is scheduled on an additional appropriation, which will also be considered in the form of a resolution. Proposed zoning ordnance amendments will also be presented.
The agenda for the board of works meeting includes a discussion by utility superintendent Donnie Davidson of construction projects.
