Driver Arrested Following Traffic Stop

A Plymouth man’s erratic driving resulted in an early morning trip to the Marshall County Jail on numerous charges. Dispatchers got a call around 3:30 a.m. of a possibly impaired or sleepy semi driver all over the roadway on westbound U.S. 30.

Marshall County Police spotted the truck and noticed similar behavior, according to a news release. The officer stopped the truck on U.S. 30 near U.S. 31. That’s when he discovered the driver, 39-year-old Charles Samuel Taylor, had multiple active Marshall County warrants.

He was also booked into the Marshall County Jail on a felony possession of methamphetamine charge and a misdemeanor offense of driving while suspended prior.
