The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is investigating following a fatal accident involving two semi-tractor trailers.
The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on U.S. 6 near Bremen. Investigators are not yet disclosing what they believe happened leading up to the accident.
According to a vehicle crash report, the accident involved a 2015 Volvo Semi Truck and a 2006 Mack Semi Truck. 36-year-old David Dent of Crete, Illinois was identified as one of the drivers. He was reported to have suffered minor lacerations to his face in the accident.
The other driver, who’s name is being withheld pending notification of the family, died in the wreck.
No other details are being released at this time.
