Plymouth High School is hosting a Freshmen Orientation Program tomorrow. The school corporation says it’s designed to create a smooth transition for eighth graders who plan to attend Plymouth High School this fall.
However, it’s also an opportunity for students and parents from other school districts who are thinking about transferring to learn more about the school.
The program starts at 6:00 p.m. in the High School cafeteria, with a chance to look at displays from the various departments. Counselors, teachers, and administrators will be there to answer questions about the school as well as the programs and courses it offers.
Then at 6:30, the main portion of the program begins in the auditorium, with a brief welcome and a video presentation. This will be followed by interactive breakout sessions on college and career readiness, as well as the typical day of a Plymouth High School student.
The Freshmen Orientation Program is scheduled to run tomorrow from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
