The Marshall County Commissioners will consider a recommendation to open voting anywhere to residents.
During this morning’s meeting, Marshall County Clerk Debbie Vandemark will present the County Election Board’s recommendation to designate the county as a vote center. The concept allows residents to vote for the candidates representing their place of residence at any voting site within the county.
Neighboring counties have already considered and implemented the concept. The idea is to prevent confusion and offer greater resources to individuals looking to vote on Election Day.
The Commissioners will meet at 8:30 a.m. EST at the Marshall County Building.
