It’s hard to believe the time has already arrived, but the Marshall County Clerk’s office says it will begin accepting applications from candidates seeking political office.
The first day to filed in Marshall County is January 6th and will remain open until February 5th. Many county seats are being contested for the municipal elections.
This year, Treasurer, Coroner, and Surveyor are being contested. The County Commissioner seat from Districts Two and Three as well as the County Council At-Large seats are also up for election.
The Marshall County Clerk’s office says they have the proper forms available in their offices. Forms are also available on in the Indiana Election Division’s website.
