PlA Plymouth man is jailed after reportedly leading a city police officer on a high speed case through Marshall County.
The officer tried to stop a car driven by 35-year-old Norbeto Martinez for a traffic violation at the intersection of Michigan and Jefferson Streets late Tuesday night, according to the incident report.
Martinez fled west on Jefferson Street and continued on through Inwood, where he ran over stop sticks placed by the Bourbon Police Department. The front left tire of Martinez’s car was flat, but he still turned north onto 331 and drove into Bremen, stopped at a residence and tried to flee on foot. Officers tased him, and he was arrested. Officers from the Marshall County, Bourbon and Bremen Police Departments assisted in his apprehension. He faces charges of resisting law enforcement, reckless driving and operator never licensed.
