The Culver Town Council will meet for the final time in 2015 on Tuesday night.
Board members will use the meeting to further consider an ordinance recommended for adoption by the Marshall County government. Culver has spent time developing language to regulate the use of animal drawn vehicles.
Their efforts follow those taken by Marshall County to regulate and tax buggies operated by local Amish populations.
Culver is among the Towns considering an animal drawn vehicle ordinance of its own. By requiring the vehicles to register and pay a fee, Marshall County hopes to better maintain roads.
The Culver Town Council will also consider adopting its 2016 salary ordinance. Certain departments are seeing raises in 2016, while others will be set for increases in 2017.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. EST at Culver Town Hall.
