The Plymouth Board of Works will get an update on the status of repairs at the Ledyard Water Treatment Plant when they meet this evening. Utility Superintendent Donnie Davison will present substantial completion reports on Phases II and III of improvements to the plant.
In other business, the board will open requests for proposals for Yellow River bank repairs. The DNR awarded the city a $50,000 Lake and River Enhancement grant to cover a portion of the cost.
The board of works meeting starts at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a meeting of the Plymouth Common Council. Their agenda includes several transfer of funds resolutions to close the books on the fiscal year, an amendment to the salary ordinance to address the fire department’s work schedule and the acceptance of donations to the police and fire departments.
