There are more opportunities this month to support local nonprofit agencies by eating at area restaurants.
The 2015 Dine Out for United Way continues during the month of November. As part of the fundraiser, 24 restaurants are helping the 24 nonprofit agencies served by the United Way of Marshall County by giving a portion of their sales on designated days to the United Way.
Mooney’s Ice Cream is once again taking part every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday throughout the month, and Penguin Point restaurant in Plymouth’s donating a share of its sales this evening from 5:00 to 8:00. Also participating this week are the Lakehouse Grille in Culver from today through Sunday and Kings Buffet in Plymouth tomorrow.
Next week, Opie’s Deli in Plymouth is taking part on Monday, and Christos in Plymouth is participating Monday through Saturday.
The fundraiser aims to help the United Way of Marshall County reach its 2015 campaign goal of $550,000. For more information, as well as for coupons for participating restaurants, visit www.marshallcountyuw.org.
