Blustery southwest winds are possible throughout the day. They’re expected to increase in speed and intensity into the overnight hours. The National Weather Service has issued a high wind advisory for tomorrow morning into Friday in anticipation of sustained winds of at least 40 miles per hour or gusts of 58 miles per hour or more.
Today and into tonight gusts of between 25 and 35 miles per hour are possible. The strong winds could create problems for tall vehicles on north-south roadways and may also cause tree and power line damage. Outdoor burning is not advised until the winds calm back down.
