Marshall County Tourism is offering grants to help organizations attract more tourists to their events.
Groups planning events that have the potential to bring overnight visitors to the county are eligible to apply for grants of up to $2,000 to help with the cost of advertising and promotion. Marshall County Tourism has set aside a total of $25,000 for the grants.
The deadline to apply is January 14. Events must take place between February 1, 2016 and February 28, 2017. Organizations planning more than one event may apply for funding for each one.
