The Culver Town Council will be bringing a revised permit fee schedule to a public hearing tonight.
For weeks, the Planning and Zoning Board, along with the Town Manager, have been working to identify ways Culver can compensate Marshall County for the use of their building inspectors.
The revised ordinances adjust permit fee levels based on the square footage of the project, but also the value added as a result of the project. The changes leave plenty of residential enhancements untouched.
During tonight’s meeting, the building permit fee “multiplier” will be explained. The ordinance will also likely be brought to a first reading.
Tonight’s Culver Town Council meeting begins at 6:30 EDT at Culver Town Hall.
