Marshall County Sheriff Tom Chamberlin’s funeral will take place in Plymouth, today.
A public visitation was held on Wednesday at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home for members of the public to pay their respects. Chamberlin fought an extensive battle with cancer prior to his death near family on Friday evening.
Flags have been lowered to half-staff until after Chamberlin’s funeral in Marshall County.
Chamberlin will be moved from the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. Residents of Plymouth and Marshall County may line Michigan Road between the funeral home and Plymouth Wesleyan Church for the 2 ½ mile procession.
Students at Webster Elementary School in Plymouth – which is along the route – are expected to give a show of support while the procession is taking place.
A funeral service with full honors will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
