Argos residents are invited to a community movie night in the town park. EMS Director Rich Miller says the Argos Fire Department, EMS, Parks Department and local businesses are sponsoring the free showing.
“We’re always asking for people to give to us, so we thought this was our turn to give back to them.”
This is the second year they’ve hosted such an event. A concession stand will be set up at the park. Miller says the show will begin around 8 p.m. with a couple of Minion mini-movies and some old-fashioned cartoons. “Space Jam” is the main movie, and it will start at 9. A movie screen will be set up on the baseball diamond. Families can bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy first-come, first-served seating for the show.
In the event of rain, the movie night will be rescheduled to Friday, Sept. 25.
