A head-on collision sends three people to the hospital. It happened just before 1 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23 at the intersection of Michigan and Custer Drive.
A 2008 Jeep SUV driven by 20-year-old Scott Swihart was southbound on Michigan Road, drifted across the center line and hit a 2010 Honda sedan driven by 26-year-old Yuquing Lei of Plymouth. Swihart told the investigating officer from the Marshall County Police Department he fell asleep. Swihart, Lei and a passenger in Lei’s vehicle were all taken to Memorial Hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
