An Argos couple faces drug and weapons charges following a month-long investigation by the Indiana State Police. They had been looking into Jacqueline Houin, 54, and Tony Houin, 45, due to their alleged excessive purchase of pseudoephedrine at area stores. It’s the main ingredient in meth manufacture.
On Thursday troopers from the Bremen post searched their residence in the 15000 block of Juniper Road and found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and several firearms, according to a state police news release. A niece and nephew were visiting the couple and were turned over to the Department of Child Services.
Charges include manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of precursors with intent to manufacture, maintaining a common nuisance and exploitation of a dependent or endangered adult.
