During Tuesday evening’s Plymouth School Board meeting an educational tour of Europe for Summer 2017 was proposed. Students would have an opportunity to spend 2 weeks overseas seeing sights while simultaneously learning about Europe’s rich history. A representative from Education First Tours discussed their policy that for every six students who enroll EF Tours pays the way of one chaperon. In order to embark on a tour with only people from Plymouth approximately 40 individuals would need to sign up. Since the trip wouldn’t take place for two more summers, the board members unanimously decided to table the item until their July 7 meeting.
