Michigan Man Arrested in Speeding and Cannabis Possession Case

A Michigan man was taken into custody on Sunday night after police say he was driving while intoxicated.

Around 11:45 p.m. on U.S. 30 in Marshall County, officers observed a vehicle traveling westbound in excess of 90 miles per hour. A traffic stop was conducted near the Grovertown Truckstop.

According to a press release, probable cause was developed that the driver, 28-year-old John Toschlog, had been consuming alcohol. A second officer was called to the scene where the K-9 unit was used. A plastic bag containing cannabis was allegedly located.
