Flooding remains a concern across northern Indiana as rain continues to fall. The National Weather Service warns excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, as well as highways and underpasses in urban areas. County roads and farmlands along the banks of creeks, streams and other low-lying areas are also subject to flooding. Residents who live in low-lying, flood-prone areas are urged to move to higher ground to escape rising waters. Do not drive through roads covered with water, as pavement may be washed out underneath or water may cause a vehicle to stall. Rain is in the forecast for the next several days.
